The Good Trouble Coalition has worked with law firm Hogan Lovells US LLP to file a brief of Amicus Curiae to the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in the case of K.C. et al. v. Individual Members of the Medical Licensing Board of Indiana, et al. This brief opposes Senate Enrolled Act 480- the gender-affirming care ban.

SEA 480 undermines the ability of parents to act in the best interests of their children and inserts legislators into patient-clinician relationships while ignoring current standards and guidelines for the care and treatment of transgender youth. As always,The Good Trouble Coalition advocates to assure that all patients, including the most vulnerable Hoosiers, receive compassionate and necessary medical care.
